Finished in the French style, both the apron and the edges of the generously scaled top seem to flirt with the sturdy, bun foot legs. Elegant Dutch white cedar is unexpectedly lighthearted and is precision matched to enhance the natural swirls of the multi-layered grain. A felt-lined knife drawer at the end of the table adds function to this beautiful gathering piece. The Farmer’s Market Table includes one 22-inch leaf, making it easy to expand the tabletop and make room for more family and friends. A finishing grid-work top recalls an old pasture fence and helps conceal the removable leaf when in use.
